Tommy West brings a wealth of experience and a passion for player development to the Arsenal AAU basketball program. With over a decade of coaching experience across multiple levels, West has established himself as a dedicated mentor who prioritizes hard work, growth, and fun in his approach to the game.

His broad coaching experience has allowed him to work with athletes of all skill levels, from youth players to high school standouts, helping them improve their skills and basketball IQ.
When asked about the most important part of basketball training, West emphasizes the value of hard work: “It’s all about getting kids to work hard, improve, gain basketball knowledge, and most importantly, have fun."
West is deeply committed to the family-oriented atmosphere at Arsenal AAU, where he builds strong relationships with players, parents, and staff. His favorite motivational quote, which he often shares with his athletes, captures his coaching philosophy perfectly: "Hard work beats talent if talent doesn’t work hard."
